Minerali Industriali, with a history of over 100 years, is a multinational group leader in the extraction and processing of industrial minerals. In 2023, Minerali Industriali recorded a turnover of approximately 200 million euros, with an EBITDA% of 12.7%, directly employing around 600 people in 10 production countries and 26 productive plants spanning Europe, North Africa, and South America. With an annual production of over 3.5 million tonnes of raw materials, it serves more than 800 customers in glass production, ceramics, sports & leisure, and engineering for constructing mining plants and machinery, with a strong focus on developing circular economy opportunities as the ones in the glass cullet and ceramic waste treatment and recovery.
The R&D staff is fully competent and well-motivated, and we are used to manage internship program and or industrial PhD. Moreover, the CRMs recovery is one of the most important topic for company research at the moment: different resources were focused on and one industrial PhD is currently on going with the University of Turin (2022-2025) on this topic.
Alberto Cazzaniga

- MSc in Geology (2009) at Università degli Studi di Milano, widely experienced in prospecting, treatments, and mineral deposits research. After 2 years as a field geologist in several metal minerals research projects abroad, he joined the Minerali Industriali group in 2011 as a geological research coordinator. He oversees mineral treatments and geological research activities.

- over 10 years of experience directing R&D teams and projects in the mining and raw materials industry.
- With a great passion for philosophy, physics, and digital, he has worked on strategic R&D projects in Minerali Industriali since September 2023, after 8 years in Sibelco and 4 years as a consultant.
- Board Member of FAMM - an Italian Foundation for Social Goods.
Dario Manzoni

- With over 30 years of experience in managerial positions in Finance and Accounting departments in several multinational companies, he supports Minerali’s growth and economic sustainability with his skills and experience.
